Tree Removal – Great North Road

Four trees between St Barnabas Church and the cemetery have recently been removed, in what appeared to be an act of vandalism.
We have since been advised that these specimens were dead or dying and have been removed by a tree officer for Notts County Council.
Unfortunately the PC had not been previously warned, to enable us to keep concerned residents advised.
Nevertheless, the stakes were not removed as the trees will be replaced in the near future.
