RANSKILL READING ROOM
The building has some history attached to it because it was provided as a meeting place for villagers so they had access to newspapers and periodicals, hence the name Reading Room. Now it is used as a meeting place for people of all ages (juniors from the age of 14), who come to play snooker, billiards, pool and darts. There are two full-size snooker tables, two pool tables and a dart board. The Room is open on Mondays and some Wednesdays from 7pm to 10pm. You are invited to come along and take a look at what is on offer.
