COMMUNITY ROAD SAFETY

Speeding vehicles along the roads of our village is a continuing concern for residents.

A new volunteer group is being launched in an approved scheme fully supported by the Nottinghamshire Police.

The Parish Council is asking for volunteers to form a new team. 

Full training will be provided by the Police.

Results will be fed back to the local Neighbourhood Policing Team who are committed to sending out notice letters to selected speeders and followed up with a visit for persistent offenders.

The group will act as a strong deterrent to speeding traffic through the village as well as being supported by the local Neighbourhood Policing team.
